Well, let me tell ya ’bout this here Mizzou Florida game, ya know, the one with them college boys throwin’ the pigskin around.

Now, I ain’t no fancy sports writer or nothin’, just an old woman who likes watchin’ a good game now and then. But I can tell ya what I saw, and it was somethin’ alright.
First off, this Mizzou team, them Tigers, they got this quarterback, Brady Cook. He’s a good one, I tell ya. He’s been winnin’ games for them, and he’s got a good arm on him. But now they gotta find a new boy for the next season, hear tell all the good young’uns already picked by other teams. It ain’t easy, you know, finding a good quarterback. It’s like findin’ a good egg in a whole coop full of chickens. You gotta look close.
And then there’s them Gators from Florida. They’re a tough bunch, always scrappin’ and fightin’. They got some good players too, no doubt about that. This game, it was a real nail-biter, I tell ya. Back and forth, back and forth, nobody givin’ an inch.
- Mizzou Tigers Football: These boys are somethin’ else, always puttin’ up a good fight.
- Florida Gators Football: Tough as nails, them Gators, they never give up.
- SEC Football Games: These conference games are the real deal, everybody’s tryin’ to win.
- College Football Schedule: It’s a long season, lots of games to watch.
I remember watchin’ this one part of the game, Mizzou started the third quarter strong, scorin’ three times in a row! Put the pressure right on them Gators. One time, they scored in just two plays, a long pass, 77 yards they said, for a touchdown! It was somethin’ to see, I tell ya. The crowd went wild!
This Mizzou team, they’ve won a bunch of titles over the years, conference titles and division titles. Fifteen conference titles, they say! That’s a lot, even for an old woman like me to count. They been playin’ this football for a long time, and they know what they’re doin’.

But this game against Florida, it was a real test. The SEC, that’s a tough conference, you know. Everybody’s good. You can’t just waltz in there and expect to win. You gotta fight for it. And these two teams, they fought hard.
I heard tell that Mizzou was in the Big 12 before, but then they switched over to the SEC. Guess they wanted a bigger challenge, huh? It’s like movin’ from a small town to the big city. Everything’s a little tougher, a little faster.
This year, Mizzou’s doin’ pretty good, nine wins and two losses, they say. That’s a good record, no matter how you slice it. They played Florida at home, in Columbia, at night, 6:30 they said. And they beat ’em good. It wasn’t easy, but they got the job done. They had a strong win, they did.
Now, I ain’t sure what all the fuss is about with these bowl games and national titles and all that. Seems like a lot of hoopla to me. But I do know that these boys play hard, and they put on a good show. And that’s what matters, right? A good, honest game of football.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a good game to watch, keep an eye on these Mizzou Tigers and them Florida Gators. They’ll give you a run for your money, I tell ya. And who knows, maybe Mizzou will even go on to win somethin’ big. They got the team, they got the heart, and they got the fans. That’s all you need, right?

And that’s all I gotta say ’bout this Mizzou Florida game. It was a good one, a real barn burner. And I’m glad I got to see it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about football’s made me hungry.
SEC Football is somethin’ special, that’s for sure. Keeps an old woman like me entertained, that’s for certain. And that’s the truth, so help me God.
