Okay, so, I spent this Friday watching ONE Friday Fights 62. I’m telling you, it was a blast! It all started when I saw that ad online, you know, about this big martial arts event happening in Asia’s primetime. I thought, “Why not?” So, I started checking it out.

ONE Friday Fights 62: Get Ready for Non-Stop Action and Big Clashes

First thing, I went to their YouTube channel. I found out that the fights were going to be live-streamed from the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok. That’s a pretty famous place for Muay Thai, which is cool. They also had the full fight card listed, so I started looking into the fighters. I found this one fight that got my attention, Matheus Guiado Por Deus Pereira vs. Evgeniy The General Morozov. I saw some videos of these guys fighting, and let me tell you, it’s wild.

Then I started getting ready for the event. I made sure I remembered some advice I had read about preparing for a fight, like eating a good meal with carbs and protein. It’s important to have energy for this kind of thing, you know. So I made myself a big plate of pasta. I also saw that fighters usually call their loved ones before a big fight. So I decided to call my mom. It is good to chat with her, I did feel more relaxed after that.

On the day of the event, I followed what I read about how fighters prepare. I had a light breakfast, just some toast and fruit. I didn’t want to feel too full watching all that action. Then I did some light stretches. I wanted to feel good and not all stiff.

When the fights started, I was glued to my screen. There were 24 fighters in total, doing both Muay Thai and kickboxing. It was intense! They had this leaderboard thing going on too, where you could see who was picking the winners right. I tried to guess a few, but man, it’s harder than it looks! These fighters, they’re really putting their hearts and souls into it.

Anyway, the whole event was amazing. I watched every fight, and the one I was most excited about, Matheus vs. Evgeniy, it did not disappoint. Those guys went all out!

Here’s a quick rundown of how I got ready:

  • Found the event: Saw an ad and looked it up online.
  • Checked the details: Found the fight card and watched some fighter videos.
  • Prepped the day before: Ate a big meal and called my mom.
  • Day of: Light breakfast and some stretching.
  • Watched the fights: Enjoyed the whole thing, especially Matheus vs. Evgeniy.

Honestly, it was a great way to spend a Friday. If you like martial arts, or even if you’re just curious, I highly recommend checking out one of these events. It’s a whole different world, and it’s really something to see.
