Okay, so today I’m diving into this “Pirates” game for Android. Yeah, sounds kinda generic, but hey, who doesn’t love a good pirate adventure, right?

First off, I grabbed my phone and hit up the app store. Typed in “Pirates” and scrolled through a bunch of options. There’s this “Pirates Flag” thing, which is apparently an open-world RPG. Sounds cool, but it has in-app purchases up to $15.99. Ouch. I like free so I skipped it.

Then there’s something called “Rich Pirates.” Free? Okay, I’m listening. It says it’s an action and strategy game. Alright, let’s see what it’s all about. I tapped “install” and waited for it to do its thing. Opened the game, but it was buggy as hell. No thanks. Uninstalled.

Next up, “The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt.” Action game, sounds promising. Installed it, and it seems pretty decent. The graphics are okay, not amazing, but hey, it’s a free game. I haven’t dug too deep yet, but it seems like you can sail around, maybe fight some other ships, the usual pirate stuff. I played a few rounds to check if it is what I want.

Other Stuff I Saw

While I was browsing, I noticed a few other pirate games. “One Piece: Fighting Path” and “One Piece Burning Will” popped up. They look like they’re based on that One Piece anime, which I’ve never really gotten into. But for those who like One Piece, these are some options.

I also found this website, or something, called. It had a bunch of indie pirate games listed. Stuff like “Distant Shores: Coming Home,” “Rapscallions On Deck!,” “Sea Loot,” “Isle of Enchantment,” and “Mar do Amor.” I might check those out later if “The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt” doesn’t pan out.

The Whole Pirating Thing

Okay, so I stumbled across this random thing online about pirating games. You know, downloading them illegally. It said it’s maybe okay if the game isn’t being sold anymore, like if it’s some old game from 15 years ago and you can’t find it anywhere. Seems like a gray area. I’d say, just be careful there. I’m not touching that with a ten-foot pole.

Sea of Thieves?

I know “Sea of Thieves” is a big deal in the pirate game world. It looks awesome with all the sailing, exploring, fighting, and plundering. But it’s not on Android, so, I can’t play it on my phone now.

Anyways, that’s my little pirate game adventure for today. I’m gonna mess around with “The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt” some more and see if it’s any good. It’s worth a shot since it’s free, I guess. We’ll see if it keeps me entertained or if I’ll be jumping ship to something else.

If you guys have any other Android pirate game recommendations, drop them in the comments! Maybe we can all be virtual pirates together.
