Alright, so, I had this thing I needed to do with Procore and getting paid. It’s called “Procore Payout,” and honestly, I was a bit lost at first. I mean, I’ve used Procore before for managing my construction projects, but this whole payout process? Totally new territory for me.

So, the first thing I did was to try to figure out what I needed. I’m not one of those guys who immediately opens up the instructions. I went straight into Procore and started poking around. I figured I had to connect my bank account somehow, right? Makes sense.
I found the finance tools area. Clicked around some more, and it seemed like I needed to set up some kind of “payout account.” This is where I started to get a little confused. But I kept going.
Setting Up the Payout Account
- Find the Right Spot: I spent a good chunk of time just clicking through menus, looking for anything related to payments or bank accounts. It wasn’t super obvious, I’ll tell you that much.
- Enter Bank Details: Finally found it! I had to enter my bank account number, routing number, all that jazz. You know, the usual stuff you need when setting up any kind of direct deposit.
- Verification: Then came the verification. They needed to make sure it was really my account. This took some time. I think they sent a couple of small deposits to my bank account, and I had to confirm the amounts in Procore. It’s a bit of a hassle, but hey, I get it. Gotta be secure, right?
After setting up the payout account, I figured, “Okay, I’m good to go.” But nope. It took a few days for everything to get approved and linked up. I guess these things take time. It wasn’t instant, that’s for sure.
Initiating the Payout
- Select Invoices: Once everything was set up, I had to go into my invoices and choose which ones I wanted to get paid for. Pretty straightforward, just clicking a few buttons.
- Request Payout: Then there was this “Request Payout” button. Clicked that, and it gave me a few options on how I wanted to receive the money. I just chose the direct deposit to my bank account since that’s what I had set up.
- Waiting Game: And then, more waiting. It wasn’t immediate. It took a few business days for the money to actually hit my account. I guess that’s just how it works with these things.
Honestly, the whole process wasn’t as smooth as I had hoped. It felt a bit clunky, and I definitely had to do some digging around to figure things out. But, in the end, I got paid. That’s the important part, right? It wasn’t rocket science, but it wasn’t exactly a walk in the park either. I just hope it’s easier next time since I’ve already got everything set up now. Fingers crossed!
