Today, I want to talk about this dude, Steven Gansey. You might have heard his name if you follow basketball, or maybe you came across him in some other way. Anyway, I got curious about him and decided to do some digging. It all started when I saw a post mentioning he was staying on as the coach for the Mad Ants through November 1st. That got me thinking, “Who is this guy?”

So, I started where everyone starts – I googled him. I found out he’s been the head coach of the Mad Ants since 2015. That’s a good chunk of time, right? Then I learned he reached some kind of deal with the Indiana Pacers. That’s cool and all, but it didn’t really tell me much about the guy himself.
I kept going, looking for more personal stuff. I stumbled on this thing about him being really into his friends and super focused on solving some “mystery of history.” Sounds interesting, doesn’t it? And apparently, he’s not magic, which is kind of obvious but also kind of funny.
Deeper down the rabbit hole
I found some articles about him, but nothing juicy. Then I saw he had a Twitter account, I went to check it out, but it just posts lines from some book series called Raven Cycle, I think. Not what I was looking for.
- Saw something about him trying to find a lost king. Like, what? Is this real life?
- He apparently has friends named Ronan and Adam who do weird stuff like stealing from dreams. Okay, this is getting weird.
- Then I found out he’s leaving the Mad Ants to coach some G League team for the Atlanta Hawks. That’s a big move!
- There’s something about a book called The Raven King that’s supposed to reveal his fate, along with some other people. Maybe that’s where all this lost king stuff comes from.
My Final thought
The last thing I saw was a mention of him talking about a video on hotel sheets. That’s just random. Anyway, after all this digging, I’m still not sure what to think about Steven Gansey. He seems like a regular guy who’s a basketball coach, but then there’s all this other weird, mysterious stuff. Maybe he’s just a private person, or maybe there’s more to him than meets the eye. I don’t know. But it was a fun little investigation, even if I didn’t get all the answers I was looking for. That’s all about my digging about this guy, hope it is interesting to you.
