Alright, so I’ve been tinkering around with this Suzuki Address 125 lately, and let me tell you, it’s been quite the ride. I got my hands on this little beast a few weeks back, thinking it would be a simple, straightforward scooter. Boy, was I in for a surprise!

Thinking About an Address Suzuki 125? Heres What You Need to Know

First off, I started by giving it a good once-over. This thing is surprisingly lightweight, tipping the scales at just about 105kg. Lifting it around in my garage was a breeze, no need for a gym membership with this around. I noticed right away that it’s pretty nimble, which got me excited to see how it handles on the road.

Then, I dove into the engine. It’s got this SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) engine, which they claim is all about low fuel consumption and fewer emissions. I thought, “Yeah, right, let’s see about that.” I started messing with the throttle, and wow, the response was instant! It felt like it really wanted to get up and go. They’re not kidding about the acceleration.

  • Checked the fuel consumption. They say it does about 1.9L/100km. I haven’t really put it through its paces to verify that yet, but I’m keeping an eye on it.
  • Tested out the top speed. On the manual, it says 50-55mph on a dual carriageway, and yeah, I managed to get the needle up to around 60mph, though it felt like it was pushing it. Around town, it’s zippy, easily beating most cars off the line at traffic lights. But after about 40mph, it starts to lose its oomph.

I also took a closer look at the footboards. They’re a bit different than what I’m used to on other scooters, but nothing too crazy. Just something to note if you’re switching over from another model. I learned that the Address complies with Euro 5 emissions standards. Good to know it’s a little greener.

My Overall Impression

Spent a good amount of time riding around, and I have to say, the Address 125 is pretty fun. It’s stylish, easy on the gas, and handles like a dream for short distances. There are these little details that Suzuki paid attention to, which makes it a sweet ride for zipping around the city. I’m still putting it through its paces, but so far, it’s been a blast. It’s definitely a different beast compared to the old 2-stroke models, but in a good way. A solid choice for a simple, no-fuss scooter.
