And the score, they said it would be around 226.5 points. Don’t ask me what that means, I just listen to what the young’uns are sayin’. Heck, they even got numbers with dots in ’em now. When I was young, a number was a number, plain and simple.

And there’s more games! They play against the Knicks too. That game was on TV, they said. At night, 8:30, they said. Can’t stay up that late myself, gotta get my sleep. The Knicks, they got more wins than the Timberwolves, 16 to 14, I think they said. My memory ain’t what it used to be, you know.

Seems like these Timberwolves fellas are playin’ all over the place. One time, they’re in Los Angeles, playin’ against the Lakers. That Crypto somethin’ Arena, they call it. Said it was on TV too, TNT channel. 9 o’clock at night. Too late for me. And then they’re playin’ the Clippers too. Always runnin’ around, these fellas. Can’t keep track of it all.

Sometimes, these players, they get hurt. They call it an “injury report.” Like, this fella can’t play ’cause he twisted his ankle or somethin’. And then they talk about “key players.” I guess those are the important ones, the ones that score the most points or somethin’. They always talkin’ about who’s playin’ and who’s not. It’s like a soap opera, but with more sweat and less cryin’. Well, sometimes there’s cryin’ if they lose, I guess.
Watching on TV
They always talkin’ about where you can watch the games. Like, what channel it’s on. TNT, they said. And some other channels too, I guess. Me, I just watch whatever my grandson puts on. He knows all about them channels. Back in my day, we had one channel, and that was good enough. Now they got hundreds, and still complain there ain’t nothin’ to watch. Kids these days, I tell ya.
That Alex Rodriguez Fella
And get this, that baseball fella, Alex Rodriguez, he’s tryin’ to buy the Timberwolves. Can you believe it? A baseball man buyin’ a basketball team. And then I heard he wants to move the team to Seattle. Seattle? That’s way over there, ain’t it? Why would they do that? Leave all these folks here without a team. Don’t make no sense to me.
Spurs Again?
And look at that, they’re playin’ the Spurs again. Seems like they play them Spurs a lot. They always talkin’ about who’s playin’ and who’s hurt. The Spurs, they got a lot of hurt players, I guess. They always missin’ players, they said. Can’t be easy playin’ when half your team’s sittin’ on the bench.
