Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another how-to. So, the other day, I really wanted to catch the Oregon Ducks football game. But, you know how it is – different channels, different services, it can get confusing. So, I did some digging and figured it out. I thought I’d share my little adventure with y’all.

Figuring Out the Channel
First things first, I had to find out which channel the game was even on. Turns out, it was on ESPN. Okay, cool, that narrows it down. But then the question was, how do I get ESPN? I’m not exactly rolling in dough, so I wanted the cheapest, or better yet, free option. This particular game happened to be the Rose Bowl.
The Free Trial Hustle
Now, I remembered that some of these streaming services offer free trials. It’s like a little gift for us broke folks. I checked out DirecTV Stream and Hulu + Live TV, and bingo, they both had free trials. I signed up for one of those – gotta love a free trial, right?
- Signed up for a free trial on one of those streaming services.
- Made a note to cancel before the trial ended (don’t want any surprise charges).
Other Streaming Options
But what if you’ve already used up your free trials? Well, there’s ESPN+, which is a subscription, but it’s not too pricey. And then there are other live TV streaming services like Fubo that carry ESPN. They usually have different packages, so you can pick one that fits your budget. This time, it happened to be on NBC, too. I heard that the commentators were Noah Eagle and Todd Blackledge, with Kathryn Tappen on the sidelines.
Game Day Setup
So, game day rolls around, and I’m all set. I’ve got my snacks, my Ducks jersey on, and I’m ready to go. I fire up the streaming service, find ESPN, and boom – there’s the game. It felt pretty good to have figured it all out without spending a ton of money. The next game will be against Washington on Saturday.
The Aftermath
After the game (which was awesome, by the way), I made sure to cancel that free trial. Gotta stay on top of these things, or they’ll get you with those sneaky subscription fees. All in all, it was a successful mission. I got to watch the game, didn’t break the bank, and now I know how to do it for next time. It sounds like there’s going to be a bye week coming up.

So, there you have it – my step-by-step guide to watching the Oregon Ducks game without any hassle. Hope this helps some of you out there. Catch you in the next one!
