Okay, so, yesterday I started looking into this Primal Groudon thing in Pokémon GO. I heard it’s a tough cookie in raids, a Ground and Fire type. So, I thought, “Let’s figure this beast out.”

First off, I dug around to see what this Primal Groudon is all about. Turns out, it’s a real powerhouse. I learned that it’s especially weak against Water-type moves – like, double weak. That’s a big deal. So, I started thinking about which Pokémon I have that could bring the rain, so to speak.
I looked through my Pokémon and found a few good Water types. But then I remembered this one Pokémon, Primal Kyogre. I read somewhere that it’s amazing against Primal Groudon. Specifically, using Waterfall and this move called Origin Pulse. Seemed like a solid plan, so I decided to give it a shot.
Next, I jumped into a raid. I used my Primal Kyogre with those moves. Man, it was intense. I kept an eye on the numbers, and it looked like we were doing pretty good damage. I saw someone else in the comments mention something about “38.49, 595.7, 37, 623s, 66.9” and at that moment I realized that I am not the only one who is trying to use Primal Kyogre. I mean, it was just numbers to me, but it’s good to know others are on a similar path.
- Joined a few more raids.
- Tried different Water-type Pokémon.
- Noticed that Primal Kyogre really is the way to go.
After a bunch of raids, I started to get the hang of it. It’s not just about having the right Pokémon, but also about timing the attacks and dodging. I even started to enjoy the challenge. It felt good to finally start taking down those Primal Groudons more consistently.
My Realization
By the end of the day, I realized that this game’s got some layers to it. It’s not just about catching ’em all, it’s about really understanding their strengths and weaknesses. And sometimes, it’s about those numbers that the comment mentioned, even though I’m not 100% sure what they all mean yet. I guess I still have lots to learn about this game, but it was a good first step to master how to beat Primal Groudon. Also, I just want to say that team working is really important. I met some trainers in the raid, and we shared a lot with each other. If not them, it could take me much more time to get the right way!
