Okay, so today was all about the green ribbons at the PGA, and I wanted to show my support. I decided I’d try to find some and, well, it turned into a bit of a thing. Let me tell you the whole story.

The Hunt Begins
First, I hit up my local craft store. I figured, “Ribbon? They gotta have ribbon, right?” I wandered around, checking every aisle that seemed even remotely related. Yarn, fabric, gift wrapping… nothing. I finally flagged down an employee.
She looked at me like I had two heads when I asked for “PGA green ribbons.” She suggested checking the party supply section, thinking maybe it was some kind of decoration. Nope.
Going Digital
Strike one. Next, I whipped out my phone and started searching online. I typed in “pga green ribbons,” “golf green ribbons,” “support ribbons golf”… you name it, I searched it. I found some general green ribbons, but nothing specific to the PGA or that felt quite * needed to be that perfect shade of green.
The DIY Route
At this point, I was starting to feel a little defeated. But then I thought, “Why not just make my own?” I already had some plain green ribbon I’d bought(a light green). I figured, it may need some extra work.
- I found a darker green fabric at home.
- I used fabric glue to stick them together.
- I carefully created my PGA green ribbons!
Success (Finally!)
It wasn’t exactly what I’d envisioned when I started, but you know what? I made something that showed my support, and that’s what really matters. Plus, it’s kind of unique! Sometimes, you just gotta get a little creative.
