Okay, so today I wanna talk about this RC45 thing. It all started when I was browsing some bike shops online. I’m not really into this stuff, but something about the RC45 just caught my eye. It looked different, you know? So, I started digging around.

First thing I noticed was that this bike isn’t like the older RC30. It’s got a “short stroke/big-bore” engine, whatever that means. Sounds fancy, right? The engine is different, I read that the RC45 has some wider bores, and they’re shorter than the RC30’s, too. I found some text on the net, which stated that the RC45 is 2mm wider and 2.6mm shorter than RC30. Plus, it’s got fuel injection, which I guess is a big deal. I always thought carburetors were the way to go, but hey, what do I know?
So, I’m getting more curious. Where do you even find one of these things? It seems like a lot of places are selling them online now, and they even ship to the store for you to pick up. Easy peasy.
But then I thought, what about seeing one in person? I found this place called “Lucky Bike Shop” in Sauerlach. I’m not sure where that is, but apparently, they have a ton of different bike brands. Might be worth a trip just to check it out and ask some questions, these people are called experts by some websites I encountered. I wonder how much cheaper I can get, 50% sounds a bit unrealistic.
Then there’s another place, some “specialist” for e-bikes and stuff. Sounds expensive, to be honest, but it made me wonder about e-bikes anyway. What’s the big deal with e-bikes? I read somewhere that they are innovative, but I am not convinced yet.
And finally, I stumbled upon this “Zweirad-Center Stadler” place. They claim to be the biggest bike shop in Germany. That’s a bold claim! They seem to have everything bike-related. I guess if you’re really into bikes, this is like a candy store or something.

So, that’s my RC45 journey so far. I went from not knowing anything about bikes to actually considering checking out some stores. Who knows, maybe I’ll end up becoming a bike guy. Stranger things have happened, right?
Here is what I have summarized after this online adventure:
- RC45 is different from RC30, I know this for sure now.
- Many shops sell bikes online, some deliver to physical stores.
- Lucky Bike Shop in Sauerlach, might be worth visiting.
- There is a bike specialist store, wonder what is the hype of e-bikes.
- Zweirad-Center Stadler is the biggest bike shop in Germany, I am not sure about this but it does sound exciting!
That is all I have for today’s sharing, see you next time!
