So, I was messing around with this game, Gray Zone Warfare, and there’s this mission called “Prisoner 23” that Artisan gives you. I figured I’d give it a shot and document how it went. I dove in, ready to see what this was all about.

First, I had to find this prisoner, right? It’s not like they just hand you coordinates or something. I spent a good chunk of time just wandering around, looking for any clues. The game doesn’t exactly hold your hand, which is cool, but also, man, it can be a pain.

Starting the Search

  • Scouring the Area: I started by hitting up the usual spots, you know, places where you’d expect to find someone held captive. Checked some abandoned buildings, a few shady-looking hideouts. Nothing.

After a while, I stumbled upon this old, run-down building. It looked promising, so I crept inside. It was dark and creepy, and I was pretty sure I heard some rats scurrying around. I kept my weapon ready, just in case.

Inside the Building

  • First Floor: Cleared it out, found nothing but some old junk and a couple of dead rats.
  • Second Floor: More of the same, but I did find a note. It didn’t say much, but it mentioned something about the “Upper Silesian Coal Basin.” Sounded like a clue, so I decided to head there next.

The Upper Silesian Coal Basin was a whole other beast. It’s this huge industrial area, full of machinery and, you guessed it, more enemies. I had to fight my way through a bunch of them just to get to the main area. Once I got there, I started searching for anything that looked like a place where they’d keep a prisoner.

Finding the Prisoner

  • The Search Continues: I checked a few more buildings, each one more dangerous than the last. I’m talking about dodging bullets, taking cover, the whole nine yards.
  • The Cell: Finally, I found this small, isolated cell. And there he was, Prisoner 23. The guy looked rough, but he was alive.

Getting him out was another story. I had to clear a path, which meant more fighting. It was intense, but I managed to get him out of there. We made our way back to Artisan, and that was that. Mission accomplished.

Honestly, it was a pretty wild ride. A lot of searching, a lot of fighting, and a whole lot of “where the heck do I go now?” moments. But hey, I got it done. Prisoner 23 is safe, and I got some good loot out of it. If you’re planning on tackling this mission, be ready for a challenge. It’s not easy, but it’s definitely doable.
