Okay, let’s talk about how I got tickets for WWE Crown Jewel 2024 in Saudi Arabia. This whole thing started when I saw an announcement about the event. I’m a huge wrestling fan, so of course, I got all excited. The event was going to be part of the Riyadh Season, which sounded pretty epic. It was scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh.
First thing I did was start looking for information. I found out that this was going to be the sixth Crown Jewel event, and it’s a pretty big deal, apparently, this is part of a ten-year deal between WWE and Saudi Arabia. The first event was in 2018, so they’re sticking to the plan and hosting these huge events until 2027. It’s a pretty big commitment, I gotta say.
I kept an eye on the news and saw that the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Chairman, Turki Alalshikh, was working with WWE on this. That gave me some confidence that it would be a well-organized event.
Finding the Tickets
Then came the hard part, getting the tickets. I saw an announcement about the sale, and I knew I had to act fast. I heard that the event was going to start at 1 p.m. ET, which is 10 a.m. PT. That helped me plan my day around it.
I found out that they were also going to have a WWE Raw event the next day, Sunday, November 3, at the same place. This was going to be broadcast internationally on Monday. Two events in one trip? Sign me up! The Raw event was going to feature some of the biggest WWE Superstars, so that was a big plus.
I checked the WeBook website and app, and man, tickets were going fast. By the time I got there, the only tickets left were Silver for SAR45 and Gold for SAR70. I quickly grabbed a couple of Gold tickets because I wanted a good view. You know, got to get the best bang for your buck.
The Excitement
I’ve been reading up on the event, and it’s going to be huge. They’re promising some of the biggest wrestling stars, and it’s all going down in Riyadh. I even saw some interviews with the stars ahead of the event, and it sounds like they’re going to have everything for the first time ever. It’s going to be a historic event, that’s for sure.
Preparing for the Trip
Now that I have the tickets, I’m planning the rest of the trip. I need to book flights, a hotel, and figure out the local transportation. It’s a bit of a hassle, but it’s going to be worth it. I mean, it’s WWE in Saudi Arabia, how often does that happen?
I also need to brush up on my Arabic a little. It’s always good to know a few basic phrases when you’re traveling. Plus, I want to be able to navigate the city and maybe check out some local spots. Riyadh Season sounds like a big festival, so there should be plenty to see and do.
Final Thoughts
Overall, it’s been a bit of a journey to get these tickets, but I’m super excited. I’ve been a WWE fan for years, and seeing a live event in a place like Saudi Arabia is going to be a unique experience.
