Kawasaki ZRX1100, a Good Bike
Kawasaki, they make good stuff. My nephew, he had one of them Kawasaki dirt bikes. Zipped around like a rabbit. This ZRX1100, it’s one of them Kawasaki ZRX 1100 models. Big and strong. Like a bull, that thing is.
Some folks, they got money troubles. Gotta sell their bikes, poor things. Life’s hard sometimes, ain’t it? But that don’t change that this 1999 Kawasaki ZRX1100 is a good bike.
ZRX1100, Keep It Runnin’
Gotta change the oil, keep it running good. And the filter too. Don’t want no gunk in there messin’ things up. Like when you’re canning, gotta keep everything clean. Same with a bike, I reckon.

Fast and Strong ZRX1100
This bike, it’s fast. Real fast. They say it can go over 242HP. Don’t know what that means, but it sounds fast. Like a horse, it is. A strong one, too. They talk about “boost” and “tq” and “91 octane pump gas”. Sounds like somethin’ for a race, maybe. High boost, they say, like boostin’ a kid up to get apples from a tree. This one, they say 14psi is 242HP. Whatever that means, it’s gotta be somethin’. And 177 ft. lbs. tq, I ain’t sure what that is, but it sounds powerful, like a good, strong mule.
More power, they say. Just need better fuel. Like feedin’ a good horse, I suppose. And turn some knob. Sounds easy, but I bet it ain’t.
ZRX1100, Two People Ride?
Some folks ride double. Two on a bike. I don’t like that. Too crowded. Like when too many folks try to get in the truck. This one fella, his wife got her own. A 900 ninja. Sounds like one of them karate fellas. She must go fast, too. 900, that sounds more powerful than my old washing machine.
They say they have more fun now. I bet they do. Each on their own bike. Like havin’ your own hoe in the garden. More work gets done that way.
ZRX Owners Club
There’s a club, you know. For folks who got these ZRX bikes. A big one, too. In the UK. Where’s that? Over the ocean, I reckon. They all get together and talk about their bikes. Like when we used to have them quilting bees. Lots of chatter.
Two brothers, they had these bikes. A ’99 and a ’00. Had to sell ’em. That’s a shame. They say they were good bikes. Real good. Like a good pie, I bet. Everybody likes a good pie.
More Bike Talk, ZRX1100 and Others
They talk about handlebars. And carbs. Don’t know nothin about carbs. And Z1000, zx12, zzr1200, zx 11, zzr1100, zx9, R1, 929. All them numbers and letters. Makes my head spin. Like tryin’ to read them fancy labels at the store. ZX-14R, ZX-10RS, that is a lot of letters, like when you try to remember a real long recipe without writin’ it down.
But I know this much. That 1999 ZRX1100, it’s a good bike. A strong one. And fast, too. If you got one, you’re lucky. Just like findin’ a twenty dollar bill in your old coat pocket. A real good find. Keep it runnin’ good, and it’ll treat you right. Just like a good mule, if you treat it right, it will work for you all day. This Kawasaki ZRX1100, it is a good bike to ride.
