Well, well, well, you wanna know where to watch Birmingham City F.C. vs Wrexham A.F.C., huh? Shucks, it ain’t that hard to figure out if you just use your noggin a little. These young folks and their fancy gadgets, always makin’ things more complicated than they need to be.

I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market. They was sayin’ somethin’ ’bout watchin’ it on the telly. That big ol’ box with the pictures movin’ inside. I think they say the date is September 16th, or somethin’ like that. Yeah, September 16th, I remember now, that’s the day. So, you gotta wait till then.
Now, I ain’t one for watchin’ too much of that sport, but my grandson, bless his heart, he’s glued to it. He keeps yellin’ about Birmingham City and Wrexham. Says one’s the favorite, the other’s the underdog. Sounds like a dog fight to me, but what do I know?
They say you can watch it on somethin’ called “Sky Sports Football”. Now, I don’t know what in tarnation that is, but it sounds expensive. My grandson, he’s got it on his fancy phone. He’s always showin’ me them movin’ pictures on that little thing. He says it’s some kind of “stream”. Like a stream of water, but with pictures? Kids these days…
Here’s a list I overheard:
- Sky Sports Football
- 7pm
- September 16th
- Birmingham City is the favorite
- Wrexham is the underdog
They say you gotta pay for it, though. Somethin’ ’bout 22 somethings a month. Or 43 somethings for more stuff. Sounds like a rip-off to me. Back in my day, we didn’t have to pay to watch things. We just went outside and played! But these young’uns, they like to stay inside and stare at them screens all day.

Now my grandson, he also got somethin’ called an “App”. Says it’s for keepin’ up with Wrexham AFC. I don’t know why he needs an app for that, we got a perfectly good newspaper that tells us all the news. But he says it’s got “video on demand”. I think he’s just makin’ up words now. Maybe to make the other team lose. Like some sort of magic word. They like to bet, you see. I heard someone say that Birmingham is -130 and Wrexham is +330. What’s that mean? No idea. Something to do with money, I guess.
But if you really wanna watch Birmingham City vs Wrexham, I reckon that “Sky Sports Football” thing is your best bet. Just gotta figure out how to get it. Maybe ask one of them young folks, they seem to know all about these things. Or just wait till the newspaper comes out, that’s what I do.
I remember one time, my neighbor, she wanted to watch somethin’ real bad. She didn’t have that fancy “Sky” thing, so she went down to the pub. They got a big ol’ telly in there, and they show all sorts of things. Maybe you could try that? Just don’t get into any fights, those football folks can be rowdy.
Another thing, you could ask around, maybe at the market. Someone’s bound to know where to watch it. Just keep your ears open, and you’ll hear somethin’. People love to talk about these games, especially the young ones. They are crazy about Birmingham City vs Wrexham match.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go tend to my chickens. They don’t care much for football, but they sure do lay some good eggs. And that’s somethin’ you don’t need a fancy “stream” or an “App” for. Just good old-fashioned hard work.

I heard someone say that you could even find it for free. But I don’t know. If something is too good to be true…you know. Be careful of those free things. Might end up with some nasty stuff on your computer.
Anyway, good luck findin’ that Birmingham City vs Wrexham game. Hope you enjoy it, if that’s your thing. Me, I’ll stick to my garden and my chickens. Much more peaceful, if you ask me. And the chickens don’t yell at the telly, which is a plus. They do not know when will be Birmingham City vs Wrexham game. They are just happy, little creatures.
Remember, September 16th, 7pm, Sky Sports Football. That’s what they all sayin’. Don’t forget it! Or just ask your grandson, he’ll know. I hope that’s not too early for you. I, for example, like to go to bed early. That’s why I won’t watch it I guess. But you do you. Maybe you’ll enjoy it. Maybe there will be a fight. Who knows.
