Okay, so today I’m gonna talk about my “delmar workouts” routine. It all started when I was trying to find a way to stay fit without spending hours at the gym. I mean, who has that kind of time these days? I just wanted to do my thing and get it over with.
First, I went online and searched for some quick workout ideas. There was a lot of info, but one thing that caught my eye was the 7-minute workout thing. Sounded perfect for me, so I decided to give it a shot. They said it’s good when you’re short on time or want to stay focused during the day. I’m all about efficiency, so I was down to try it.
The routine I found had a bunch of exercises: jumping jacks, wall sits, push-ups, crunches, step-ups, squats, triceps dips, planks, high knees, lunges, and some push-ups with rotations and also some side planks. Sounded like a good mix to me. It looked like this:
7 Minute Workout
- Jumping jacks
- Wall sits
- Push-ups
- Abdominal crunches
- Step-ups onto a chair
- Squats
- Triceps dips on a chair
- Planks
- High knees/running in place
- Lunges
- Push-ups and rotations
- Side plank (left)
- Side plank (right)
I started doing this 7-minute thing every morning. I did each exercise for like 30 seconds with a 10-second rest in between. Man, it was intense! But I felt pretty good afterward, and it only took 7 minutes. I was happy about that. It’s perfect before a shower, just do it and move on with my day.
But then I thought, “What if I want to do a bit more?” I saw online that for longer workouts, like 30 minutes, it’s good to do exercises that work many muscles at once. Like squats, push-ups, rows, and lunges. I added them to my routine, doing a few rounds of each.
I also learned about “supersets,” which is doing two exercises back-to-back without rest. That was a game-changer. I started pairing up exercises, like squats with push-ups, and it made the workout even more efficient. I could feel my body working harder, and I started seeing results pretty quickly.
So, I kept at it, mixing the 7-minute routine with some longer sessions, and using supersets to make the most of my time. I didn’t need any fancy equipment, just my body and a chair. It was all about being efficient and making every minute count. I gotta say, it felt great to find a routine that worked for me without taking over my life. It’s quick, it’s effective, and it makes me feel strong. And that’s what I’ve been doing with my “delmar workouts”.
