Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this game, “Gray Zone Warfare,” and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. Today, I want to share my experience with the “Local Golf Star” task, especially since I also had to do the “Priceless Possessions” task at the same time. It was a bit of a mess, but a fun one.

First off, I started the game and got this “First Recon” task from a guy named Handshake. He wanted me to scout out a few places in my starting town – a gas station, some convenience store, and a wrecked building. Seemed easy enough, right? I figured I’d knock those out while working on the golf star thing.
But then there’s this whole money problem in the game. You basically only make money by doing missions. Run out of cash? Forget about buying gear. No gear? Good luck finishing any more missions. It’s like they want you to get stuck or something. I heard the only way to get more storage space was to buy a fancier version of the game, which is a total bummer. I mean, the standard edition only gives you a tiny locker. Not cool.
Anyway, back to the golf star. I watched this video that showed where to find this golf club for some guy named Turncoat. Turns out it’s the same location for Handshake’s “Priceless Possessions” task. Two birds, one stone, I thought.
- Finding the location: I used this online map, it was a total lifesaver. It shows you where to find keys, loot, everything. Without it, I would’ve been running around like a headless chicken.
- Getting the golf club: I followed the map to this specific spot, and there it was, the prized golf club. I grabbed it, feeling pretty good about myself.
- Dealing with other players: I heard some folks online saying you get experience points for every kill. Made me think twice about just running in, guns blazing. I tried to be a bit more sneaky, but it’s tough when everyone’s out for blood.
- The economy issue: All the while, I’m still broke. Every mission feels like a struggle to get enough money. It’s like the game is designed to make you fail unless you spend real money.
I managed to snag the golf club and whatever else Handshake wanted. I guess I should be happy, but the whole money situation is really killing the vibe. It makes it hard to enjoy the game when you’re constantly worried about running out of funds.
I’m thinking of displaying this hard-earned golf club somewhere I can see it. A reminder of the grind, maybe? Or maybe it’ll just motivate me to get back out there, even if the game’s economy is messed up. Who knows.

So, that’s my story about becoming a “Local Golf Star” in Gray Zone Warfare. It’s a game with some cool ideas, but the way they handle money needs some serious fixing. Hopefully, the developers will listen to the players and make some changes. Until then, I’ll be here, trying to survive with my tiny locker and a dream of a better in-game economy.
