Alright, so I’ve been trying to catch the Lions game all season, and man, it’s been a bit of a wild goose chase, let me tell you. I mean, figuring out what channel it’s on each week? Forget about it.

First off, I started by checking the usual suspects, you know? Your local CBS, FOX, those guys. Sometimes the game is on there, but other times? Nope. Nada. So, I dug a little deeper.
I found out that this season, the Lions games are all over the place. Some are on NBC, which is cool, I already get that. But then others, they’re on this Peacock thing. Had to figure that one out. It’s a streaming service, costs a few bucks, but hey, at least I can watch the game, right?
- So, first step, check if it’s on NBC. Easy enough.
- If not, fire up the Peacock app.
But wait, there’s more! Sometimes, they’re on something called Fubo. Another streaming thing. They offer a free trial though, so that’s a win. I signed up for that just in case.
And for those times when I’m not at home? I discovered I can listen to the game on the radio. WXYT-FM 97.1 in Detroit. They’ve got a bunch of other stations that carry it too, so I made a little list of those for when I’m on the road.
Here’s what I’ve got so far:
- Try the usual TV channels first – CBS, FOX. You might get lucky.
- Get Peacock – some games are only on there.
- Sign up for a Fubo free trial – just in case.
- Find a radio station that broadcasts the game – for when you’re driving.
So yeah, it took some doing, but I think I’ve finally cracked the code. Now, I can catch every Lions game, no matter where they’re playing or what channel they’re on. It’s a bit of a hassle, sure, but hey, for my Lions? Worth it.

Hope this helps some of you other Lions fans out there. It’s a jungle out there in TV land, but we can navigate it together!
