Alright, let me tell you about my recent trip to the Eagle Trace Golf Club in Broomfield. I’d heard about this place, so I decided to check it out.

So, I packed my golf clubs and drove over to Broomfield. It wasn’t too far, actually. The place is located at 1200 Clubhouse Dr. Once I got there, I paid the green fee, which was pretty reasonable, somewhere around 22 to 27 bucks. Not bad at all for an 18-hole course.

The Course

  • The course is a par 72, and it stretches out to about 6,579 yards.
  • It’s semi-private, which means you don’t need a membership to play, but members do get some perks.

I started playing, and honestly, the course was pretty decent. It wasn’t the fanciest I’ve ever seen, but it was well-maintained. They have some other courses around Toronto and one even hosts the pro players for the RBC Canadian Open, but those guys are in a whole different league! I was just out there to enjoy myself.

I played the full 18 holes. It was a good workout, walking the course and all. I definitely needed the golf cart a few times, though, especially on those longer stretches. By the time I finished, I was pretty tired, but it was a good kind of tired.

After the game, I grabbed a quick bite to eat at the clubhouse. The food was decent, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Then, I just headed back home.

All in all, it was a pretty good day. I got some exercise, enjoyed the weather, and played a decent round of golf. If you’re in the Broomfield area and looking for a place to play, I’d say Eagle Trace is worth checking out. It’s not too expensive, and it’s a good way to spend a few hours.
