So, I gotta tell you guys about my little adventure figuring out where to park at Busch Stadium. I’m not the best with directions, and parking can be a real headache, you know? But I was heading to a Cardinals game the other day, and I figured I’d share my experience since I actually managed to find my way around.
First off, I did a little digging beforehand. Turns out, there are a bunch of parking lots right around the stadium. That’s the good news. The not-so-good news? It can get crowded, especially during game days, obviously.
I downloaded this Ballpark app thing. Apparently, all the parking passes are digital now, which is kinda cool, I guess. No more fumbling around for paper tickets in your pockets. It also showed me a map of all the parking lots around the stadium, so I had a bit of a plan before I even left my house.
I ended up going for the Starr Lot. It said on the app that it’s right across from Gate 2, on the southwest side of the stadium. Sounded easy enough, even for a directionally-challenged guy like me. I punched it into my GPS and headed out.
Getting there was actually pretty smooth. Traffic was okay, considering it was game day. I followed the signs, and boom, there it was. The Starr Lot. I just showed my phone with the parking pass to the attendant, and they waved me through. Easy peasy. Parked my car, and it was a short walk to the stadium from there.
I got to my seats in time to see the beginning of the game, which was awesome. They are called Redbird Club Seats, which are pretty nice. Oh, I almost forgot to say that I went to an evening game, so the weather was really good.
After the game, getting out of the lot was also pretty chill. No major traffic jams or anything. Overall, it was a surprisingly smooth parking experience. I was honestly expecting more of a hassle, but it turned out to be way easier than I thought.
So, yeah, if you’re heading to Busch Stadium and stressing about parking, don’t worry too much. There are plenty of options, and if you use that Ballpark app, it’s even easier. Just pick a lot, grab your digital pass, and you’re good to go. Just remember that it’s still better to get there early, especially on a game day, to avoid any last-minute stress. That’s my two cents, anyway. Hope this helps someone out there!
