Alright, let’s talk about breeding Astegon in Palworld. It’s not as straightforward as you might think, but I got it figured out, and I’m here to share how I did it.

First off, I made sure my Breeding Farm was unlocked. That’s step one, can’t do much without it. Then, I had to bake a cake. Sounds weird, but trust me, it’s part of the process. I used the Cooking Pot for this. It felt more like I was preparing for a picnic than breeding a dragon, but hey, it worked.
Next, I went on a catching spree. I needed specific Pals to make this work. I caught a Beakon, a Jetragon, and a Relaxaurus. Seemed like a random bunch, but each one is compatible for breeding Astegon. It took a while, running around, battling, and finally catching them. My Palbox started to look like a zoo, but it was all worth it.
With the cake ready and the right Pals in my party, I headed back to the Breeding Farm. I put the compatible Pals in there, along with the cake. Then, it was just a waiting game. I kept myself busy, crafting and exploring, checking back every now and then to see if the magic had happened.
Finally, I saw it – an egg! It was a big one, couldn’t miss it. I incubated it, and out came an Astegon. It was a bit of a process, not gonna lie, but seeing that Astegon hatch made it all worth it.
And here’s a little bonus: when I finally got my Astegon, I also got some cool drops. I got some Pal Metal Ingots and Pure Quartz. The Pal Metal Ingots were like one or two each time, and the Pure Quartz was more, like three to five. These are great for crafting, so it’s like a two-for-one deal. I breed Astegon and get materials for my next project. It felt pretty rewarding, getting those extra resources just from breeding.

- Unlock Breeding Farm
- Bake a cake in Cooking Pot
- Catch Beakon, Jetragon, and Relaxaurus
- Place compatible Pals and cake in Breeding Farm
- Wait for egg, then incubate
- Get Astegon and some crafting materials as drops
So, that’s my story of breeding Astegon in Palworld. It took some effort and a bit of running around, but it was a fun experience. If you’re looking to breed your own Astegon, hopefully, my adventure gives you a good starting point. Happy breeding!
