Alright, let’s talk about this guy, Todd Schrupp. I gotta say, I didn’t know much about him before today, but I sure do now.

So, I started my day like any other, I browsed some news online. That’s when I saw this name, Todd Schrupp, pop up. Apparently, he’s a big deal in the horse racing world. He’s an anchor and host on FanDuel TV, and used to be with TVG.
Figured I’d do a little digging. I watched a couple of videos where he was discussing the “Win and You’re In Challenge Series” with some other guys, Jon and Joel. They were breaking down some past races, and Todd seemed to know his stuff.
- Found out that Todd got his start at TVG back in ’99 after seeing an ad in The Daily Racing Form. He sent in some tapes, auditioned, and the rest is history.
- Next, I tried to find some basic economic stuff about something, but that was a dead end. Totally unrelated, moving on.
- Then, I got distracted and somehow ended up looking at charts about p-waves and s-waves. No idea how I got there, but it wasn’t helping me with this Todd Schrupp thing.
- Read something about key predictors of health and stability. Again, not sure how that’s relevant, but my brain just goes where it wants, I guess.
- Saw some feedback form. “Enter your feedback below and we’ll get back to you,” it said. Tempting, but I resisted the urge to rant about my confusing research journey.
- Finally, I stumbled upon something about Warburg Pincus and some kind of secondary process. This was way over my head, so I just skimmed it and moved on.
The process
End of the day, I still don’t know a whole lot about Todd Schrupp other than his job, but I sure went down a rabbit hole trying to learn more. I guess that’s just how my brain works.
Anyone else ever have a day like this? I bet you all know more about Todd than I do, hah!
But this is how I learned today. Pretty interesting, you know.

Hope this makes sense, I feel like I just rambled for five minutes. What a day!
