This here’s about that Zach LaVine fella, the one playin’ basketball. I heard folks talkin’, sayin’ they wanna know his stats for the last 10 games. Well, I dug around a bit, like a hen scratchin’ for worms, and this is what I found.
Zach LaVine, What’s He Done Lately?
That boy Zach, he’s been playin’ for some team, I forget the name. Bulls, maybe? Anyways, he’s a shootin’ guard, whatever that means. He throws the ball a lot, I reckon. And he’s been doin’ it for a while now. They say he’s good, but I don’t know. I seen better players down at the community center.
So, these stats, they’re like numbers, you see? Tell you how many times he throws the ball in the hoop, how many times he misses, that kind of thing. For the last 10 games, they say he’s been throwin’ that ball in the hoop an average of… well, some say 18.9 times, some say 20.9. I guess it changes. That’s a lot of throwin’, if you ask me. My arm would be tired.
- Points, they call it.
- He gets points for puttin’ the ball in the net.
- The more points, the better, I suppose.
More Than Just Throwin’ the Ball
But it ain’t just about throwin’ the ball, though. There’s other things too. This Zach fella, he does other stuff on the court. They got fancy names for it.
Rebounds. That’s when you grab the ball after someone else misses. Like catchin’ a chicken that’s flown the coop. He’s not too bad at that, I hear. Gets about 3.7 of those a game, in these last 10 games, that is.
Then there’s somethin’ called assists. Sounds like helping someone out. Like when I help my neighbor, Bessie, bring in her groceries. He gets about 4.5 of those a game. Guess he’s a helpful fella, that Zach.
And steals, well, that sounds a bit naughty, don’t it? But in basketball, it’s okay. Means he takes the ball from the other team. Like when my rooster, Bucky, snatches a worm from another hen. I don’t know how many of them he does, though. They don’t always write that one down.
He Used to Be Younger, You Know
They say this Zach fella, he’s been playin’ since he was a little boy. Some say he was around five years old. Loved watching some other fella play, Jordan or somethin’. And he liked a movie, Space Jam. I don’t know it. He also liked some other player, a Kobe fella from that Lakers team, whatever that is. He tried to play just like them, that’s what the folks say.
He Went to Some Fancy School Too
This Zach, he even went to college. Played ball there, too. Some place called UCLA. Must be one of them fancy schools. He played a lot there, almost every game. Did pretty good, I guess. Got some more of them points there, too. They say he got 9.4 points each game at that school. And 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists. Whatever that all means.
So, There You Have It
That’s all I could find about this Zach LaVine fella and his stats for the last 10 games. He throws the ball a lot, grabs it sometimes, helps his friends throw it, too. He’s been doin’ it since he was a little tyke. He’s a regular basketball player, that Zach. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed my chickens. They don’t care about no basketball.
