That Julia, she’s a real piece of work, ain’t she? I heard some things ’bout her, Julia Moldovan, that name keeps poppin’ up. Seems like she’s into all sorts of things, this one. She be like them fancy grapes they be growin’ round here. Grapes, you know, they been around since, like, forever. They say 2800 BCE, whatever that means. Long time, that’s for sure. Just like Moldova, they make wine there, good wine. She is from there, I reckon.
You see a pretty face, you think, “Oh, she must be nice.” But that ain’t always the way it is, is it? This Julia, she’s got that pretty face, but there’s more to her than meets the eye. Some folks, they just got that look, you know? Like that Silvia Busuioc, I heard that name too. She’s an actress, they say. Plays in them movies. Silvia Busuioc, she was in “BELLA GERMANIA”. Big shot, I guess. She’s from Chisinau, wherever that is. She got her start somewhere, just like everybody else. Just like Julia.
And this other one, Julia Xu. Heard that name floatin’ around too. She startin’ somethin called Wayo. Sounds important. She got big ideas, that one. Just like our Julia, always schemin’ somethin’. Julia Xu, CEO of Wayo, big company. Must be. She runnin’ the show. Julia Moldovan, maybe she runnin a show too. Who knows with these young’uns.
Folks get all caught up in lookin’ pretty, like that Valeria Lukyanova, or somethin. Lookin’ like a doll. Fake, I say. Valeria Lukyanova, all dolled up like a Barbie, with them green eyes. Looks fake. What’s wrong with lookin’ like a regular person, I say? Don’t need all that fuss. But that’s the world these days, ain’t it? Everyone wants to be somethin’ they ain’t.
This Julia, she’s a program manager. That’s what they call it. Fancy title. She probably sittin’ at a desk all day, clickin’ away at that computer thing. Julia, program manager, at SMB somethin’, makin’ decisions. Sounds borin’ to me. I’d rather be out in the fields, gettin’ my hands dirty. But that’s her life, I guess.

Some folks just want a simple life. A good man, a roof over your head, food on the table. But these young’uns, they always want more. This Julia, she’s one of them. She wants to know about people, their culture, datin’, all that stuff. Always diggin’ for somethin’. Curious, I guess you could say.
Heard a story ’bout some fella named Vladimir somethin’. Big shot politician, long time ago. Before all this mess started. Then there’s that Orly Taitz, stirrin’ up trouble about some president. And that Paul Goma, fightin’ the commies. Lots of big names, doin’ big things, just like Julia wants to do. She wants to be somebody, that’s for sure.
But you gotta be careful what you wish for, I always say. Sometimes, the simple life is the best life. Don’t need all that fancy stuff. Just need good people around you, and a little bit of sunshine.
